Regarding "predictive writing," I've been exploring this concept in my academic writing because I've been asked to think of (rather, speculate) what will happen with voice and speech recognition and assistive tech in the future, for instance. But as we've discussed, a lot of this speculation requires excavating the past to understand what might be.
Love the thoughts and reflections of the sun and moon (even the sun has its shadow side!) and bringing in some of your studies of the symbolism. I also appreciate the artwork you shared especially calling our attention to the trio of the sun, moon, and star. Lastly, regarding your Filing Cabinet (book) article, I'm curious if you've read Lisa Gitelman's work? I feel you would really like her work (at the very least, find some nuggets that speak to indexicality and very much related to "granular certainty." Also, have you seen Soul (Pixar)? There is a seen where the information on each soul is kept in massive, seemingly unending, you guessed it...file cabinets!
